My name is Mr. Surratt and I'm your teacher for this course. I'm the principal of Eagle Christian School and have been working with web design projects for about 5 years. The course we are using was designed by Mr. Darrel Stone, who was the technical supervisor at Valley Christian School, and a professional web designer.
This is definitely a hands-on, learn-by-doing course. The best way to learn web design is to be willing to try different things. Don't be afraid to make mistakes. In fact, you will find that making mistakes is a good way to learn some of the concepts. So, be willing to explore. Be willing to experiment. Have a lot of fun as you seek to learn.
