As you say it, ask the Lord to teach how to apply it to your life. What are you taking in to your mind and heart? What are you choosing to listen to and watch?

THE Links and Frames |
In this lesson, we want to focus in on two
skills -- using hyperlinks and designing framesets. We will go back
to the material at w3schools to help master these concepts.
LINKS Work through the lesson "HTML Links" at the w3schools web site. Read through the lesson and seek to understand the teaching points. Be sure you know what an anchor tag is and what the target attributes are. After you read through the lesson, work through each of the "Examples" and "More Examples" sections until you feel you are very skilled at writing links. FRAMES Work through the lesson "HTML Frames" at the w3schools web site. Read through the lesson and seek to understand each teaching point. Then, take your time to work through the "Examples" and the "More Examples" sections until working with frames is an easy concept for you and writing the code to create web pages that use frames is also easy for you. I do need to give you a little advice concerning the use of frames. Although many sites use frames, they generally are used poorly and do not enhance the look and feel of a site. Most professional web designers avoid the use of frames and instead rely on tables (which you will learn how to do later) to get a particular effect. |

Project My Favorite Web Sites |
SITE SPECIFICATIONS
My Favorite Web Sites Develop a web page that will display your favorite web sites. The page is to consist of three frames. One frame will contain the title of your page. One page will be a navigation page, containing the list of sites you think are good. And one page will contain the site. When a user clicks on a site that you have on your navigation page, it will be displayed in your site page. Include a link at the bottom of your navigation page called "Contact Me" which will open up an email program to send you an email. Publish your website to your Geocities account.
Requirements: 1. Heading in proper format 2. Code formatted neatly as demonstrated in class 3. Uses comments to identify or explain major sections of the code 4. Meets all site specifications |
