Beginning HTML

SPRING 2004

Beginning HTML

Scope - This one semester course will teach you the basics of HTML that will help you build web content from scratch.  The course will focus on "learning by doing," with practical experience gained through real life assignments and will consist of assigned readings, HTML assignments and web projects.

Text - Our basic text for this course is a website developed by Mr. Darrel Stone.  Mr. Stone designed the core of this course and used to teach this course.  He now runs his own business designing database driven websites.  Visit www.acrotec.net for an overview of his business. The original course was adapted first by former Eagle Principal Mr. Clint Morey.  Besides Mr. Stone's website, we will also visit www.w3schools.com for additional information on HTML programming

NOTE:  The Semester Exam is actually a project - you need about 3 weeks to complete it!
